What Is CBD, and How Does It Work?
1. Pain Relief
Studies have shown that CBD may help in the reduction of chronic pain by impacting endocannabinoid receptor activity, reducing inflammation and interacting with neurotransmitters*. CBD has a long history of helping those suffering from intense pain and particularly those who suffer from arthritis, migraines, chronic back pain and have not been helped by conventional medicine.
2. Anxiety and Depression
In one study, 57 men were given 300mg of CBD 90 minutes before public speaking. For many of the study participants, this resulted in a feeling of a reduced anxiety during the speech*.
3. Reduction of Acne
One study has shown that CBD may have the ability to promote the reduction of subum production. Reducing subum is instrumental in helping to reduce acne*.
Many claim to have had their sleep improved with the aid of CBD. A study published in Permanente Journal involved 72 adults with poor sleep, and after the first month sleep scores improved in 66% of the participants*.
5. Cancer Treatment Symptoms
The National Cancer Institute has pointed to CBD to help alleviate chemotherapy side-effects including nausea, pain and vomiting. A study by the British Pharmacological Society suggest that it may also help to control nausea by influencing the serotonin levels, providing less stimulation of the vomiting controls in the brain*.
6. Heart Health
One study indicated that men given a single dose of CBD may have experienced a small blood pressure decrease after a stress test. Another study involving diabetic animals demonstrated that CBD may help reduce the inflammation and cell death associated with heart disease*.

What is CBD? And Why Is Organic Better?
CBD, or cannabidiol as it is officially known, is a compound found primarily in the leaves and flowers of the hemp plant. It’s one of many powerful cannabinoids found in hemp, and decades of research have shown it may offer many benefits for both your physical and mental wellness.
Preliminary clinical research has shown:
- promote anti-inflammatory effects (2020)
- alleviate anxiety and stress (2015)
- improve the quality of sleep (2019)
- boost cognitive function (2018)
CBD is gaining recognition in the health and wellness communities with some scientific studies promoting relief from symptoms such as chronic pain and anxiety, as well as acne and other skin disorders and signs of aging.
These studies compelled me to develop and offer CBD products created to the highest standards, using ONLY USDA-certified, non-GMO organic hemp that is pesticide free.
